scene from filmbiography of the director

Alexandre Mehring was born in 1971 in Boulogne. From his father, a theater director, and his mother, an actress, Mehring acquired an interest for Super 8 cameras at a very young age. He started directing numerous amateur short films during his teenage years – to the detriment of his studies. After directing the short film Tricycle at the age of 24, he began directing feature films. To date, he has directed more than 100 promotional films with Made in Taïwan being his fourth short film.
